1. About CompliantUK

CompliantUK is operated by Huseyin Turkay, Birmingham, England ("we", "us", "our"). By using our service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. The service

CompliantUK provides the following services to private landlords in England:

• Automated delivery of the official GOV.UK Renters' Rights Act Information Sheet to tenants
• Real-time delivery tracking (open and read tracking)
• Timestamped proof-of-service certificates
• Landlord compliance dashboard
• Automated tenant reminders

3. Your responsibilities

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are a private landlord in England with an assured or assured shorthold tenancy
• The tenant email address you provide is correct and belongs to your tenant
• You have a legitimate reason to share your tenant's personal data with us
• You understand that our service does not constitute legal advice
• You remain responsible for compliance with the Renters' Rights Act 2025 and all other applicable legislation

4. Payments and refunds

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

We offer a money-back guarantee if we are unable to deliver the document to your tenant's email address due to a technical error on our part. Refunds are not available once the document has been successfully delivered. To request a refund, contact us within 48 hours of your order at support@compliantuk.co.uk.

5. Retainer plans — fair use and commitment

The following terms apply to Agency Pro and Agency Pro+ monthly retainer plans:

• Monthly property cap: Agency Pro includes up to 50 properties per calendar month. Agency Pro+ includes up to 150 properties per calendar month. Properties processed above the monthly cap are charged at the applicable over-cap rate (£4/property for Agency Pro, £3/property for Agency Pro+).
• Minimum commitment: All retainer plans require a minimum 3-month commitment. You may not cancel within the first 3 months of your subscription.
• Cancellation notice: After the minimum term, cancellation requires 30 days written notice sent to support@compliantuk.co.uk. You will be charged for the full notice period.
• Fair use: Retainer plans are intended for ongoing compliance management by letting agents and portfolio landlords. We reserve the right to terminate a retainer plan with 14 days notice if we reasonably believe it is being used in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
• Enterprise pricing: Agents processing more than 150 properties per month should contact us to discuss bespoke enterprise pricing arrangements.

6. Limitation of liability

CompliantUK provides a document delivery and tracking service. We do not guarantee that use of our service will prevent any fine, penalty, or enforcement action by a local authority or any other body. Compliance with the Renters' Rights Act 2025 remains your responsibility as a landlord.

Our total liability to you in connection with our service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

7. Intellectual property

The CompliantUK website, brand, and all content are owned by us. The government Information Sheet is Crown copyright and is reproduced under the Open Government Licence.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
