• Landlord information: Your name, email address, and property address
• Tenant information: Your tenant's name and email address (provided by you)
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details
• Usage data: Document open/read times, IP addresses, device type for proof-of-service purposes
• Account data: Email and password if you create a dashboard account

3. How we use your information

• Deliver the compliance document to your tenant on your behalf
• Generate your timestamped proof-of-service certificate
• Provide access to your landlord dashboard
• Send order confirmations and service updates
• Send automatic reminders to your tenant if the document has not been read

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data under UK GDPR on the basis of contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal obligation.

5. Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing
• SendGrid (Twilio) — email delivery
• Supabase — secure database storage
• Vercel — website hosting

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Data retention

Order and proof-of-service records are retained for 6 years in line with UK limitation periods. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — necessary for the site to function. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

9. Security

Our website uses SSL encryption. All data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. We never have access to your full card details.
